Tree House Unveils New Charlton Brewery

More space, more tanks, more beer

An acclaimed brewery in central Massachusetts unveiled its new brewing facility and taproom over the weekend. Tree House Brewing opened its new space in Charlton on Saturday, as Boston Magazine reports, after more than a year of planning and construction.

The expansion from Tree House’s existing facility in Monson will mean more of the brewery’s coveted beers, like Julius, Haze, Green, and Sap. The Monson brewery is temporarily closed, but it will remain in use for small-batch brewing, while the Charlton facility adds a 50-barrel capacity for production. Tree House’s new home sits on 70 acres of land, as previously reported. The space includes a taproom where visitors can get full pours of beer, which was not previously an option in Monson.

The new 129 Sturbridge Rd. facility is open Wednesday from 12 to 8 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 2 to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 10 to 6 p.m.
